AECI Chemicals: Better Chemistry in Action: Leading developments

In 2025, we completed the first commercial sale of fluorine free fire-fighting foam and introduced epoxy-free metal coating technology to a major industrial customer. This reduced reliance on highsolvent formulations.

We also launched a phosphate-free water treatment product in response to tightening discharge standards. Working with one of our customers, we introduced a fire-side additive that improves coal energy release and promotes more complete combustion. This reduces coal consumption, manages costs and lowers emissions. Similar initiatives are advancing in the sugar and paper sectors.
